Optimize your movement potential!

Optimize your movement potential!

For the everyday mover & athlete alike.

At Frazier PT, I help individuals find long-term freedom from recurrent injury cycles and physical limitation. I help you upgrade your physical capacity through an integrated blend of personal training, physical therapy, and health coaching services, all provided by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. I go beyond the mere symptoms of acute and chronic impairment by identifying and addressing the root causes of functional limitation. My approach is deeply personalized, taking into account your goals, priorities, and belief systems in order to make lasting improvement practical, adaptable, and scalable with regard to your desired lifestyle.

Optimize Your Movement Potential

There is no way around it. If you want to get out of pain and injury-proof your body for true longevity, then you have to improve the way you move as a whole. Passive treatment modalities and isolated treatment interventions have their place but will rarely lead to long-term change if the process stops there.

On the other hand, some think they can just “exercise” and that is sufficient. However, without specific intention regarding “how” your body moves and organizes itself, general exercise (in itself) will not address the underlying dysfunctions that lead to sub-optimal performance, recurring injury cycles, and/or chronic pain.

This is why I make it my aim to de-mystify functional performance and make it attainable for those desiring a real change. While I employ a wide range of preliminary interventions based on each individual's presentation and goals, the end game is always the same - to improve your functional capacity, while making it practical and sustainable.

I define “functional capacity” as the capacity to consistently and sufficiently perform tasks and activities required for your daily life, recreation, and/or sport. If you can improve the way you move, you improve all of the above and much more.

What I Offer

Practical, Adaptable, Scalable

Specialized Physical Therapy

A wide range of movement dysfunctions can be resolved through personal training sessions outlined below, however, many other issues require more specific diagnosis and hands-on intervention that necessitates an active physical therapy license.

These cases may be post-surgical or may require a higher level of background understanding of the body and can only be performed as a “licensed physical therapist” (and may also require a physician referral).

There can be some overlap between interventions employed through these specialized physical therapy interventions and other performance tracks offered, however these physical therapy visits may be preliminarily necessary in order to first unravel specific dysfunctions prior to transitioning into higher-level functional training progressions. These often require more hands-on intervention. A proper evaluation is first necessary to develop a targeted plan of care.

Movement Restoration

While it may not take long to improve basic symptoms such as “pain”, pursuing a healthier and more efficient movement lifestyle is a commitment, requiring intentionality and a willingness to learn. My goal is help you marry your intention with your goals to help you produce long-term, attainable change.

When it comes to our “movement restoration” programming, think personal training with a highly specialized focus on restoring efficient posture, mobility, and body awareness as opposed to addressing overall fitness. Catered to your goals, I work with you to improve the way you move and equip you to develop a level of self-sufficiency in the early stage of your movement journey.

Sport Performance Training

Sport performance tracks are for anyone looking to improve their movement mechanics, strength, power, and endurance for the sake of high-level sport performance - whether that be field sports, track, CrossFit, Power lifting, martial arts, etc. Think personal training with a keen focus on movement quality, functional development, and sport specific performance.

There are many sport performance programs that emphasize strength, power, speed, agility etc. However, not all programs integrate preliminary emphasis on biomechanical awareness and movement efficiency through neuro-muscular training. This greatly limits an athletes capacity for all of the above and leaves an athlete far more prone to injury.

This may be a good fit for you if you are looking to develop a competitive level of functional performance. More details are provided on our services page.

Functional Performance Training

After improving your foundational movement quality, the next step is to expand your functional capacity through pinpointed strength, mobility, and endurance training. If you are looking to improve your overall functional fitness under the guidance and direction of someone who understands biomechanics as well as human anatomy and physiology at a doctoral level - This focus is for you!

Be it chronic joint pain, generalized fatigue, weakness, lack of endurance, there is plenty of proof that your body is capable of drastic positive change if stimulated in the right manner. Training plans can be modified to develop a basic level of functional independence or can be scaled to high-level resistance exercise with complex compound movements - tailored according to your goals.

* For true long-term improvement, I request that individuals be willing to commit to a training and development process of at least 2 months with the end goal being lifestyle change that can be maintained.

Online Coaching

Online coaching options provide remote coaching calls and personalized programming for individuals to perform at their convenience with routine check-ins and progressions along the way.

Think of online coaching programs as “movement/performance consulting. While these online coaching calls are more commonly performed in conjunction with variable in-person visits or online curriculum, coaching calls are offered individually.
