What is Performance Coaching?

Performance: Everyone is a performer. Whether it be life, recreation, or sport, we all have a demand placed on our bodies. Some bodies are built to handle that demand. Some may seem able, but under the hood they are slowly breaking down. Others, on the other hand, are already broken down and in need of major restoration. Regardless, true restoration and longevity is not just about “getting out of pain”. Rather, the body must be developed to properly handle the demands placed on it.

So…Whether you want to perform basic activities of daily living or to be the fastest person on your sports team, your capacity needs to be strategically and systematically expanded to meet those demands needed. Whether your arena is the backyard or the sports field, this is why I believe everyone ought to be treated like an “athlete”.

Coaching: While I do incorporate hands-on intervention, my goal is to empower you by making movement practical, adaptable, and scalable to your lifestyle and values, so that you can be the one to ultimately take control of your body. Why? Because it is in this process that real results become sustainable. 

There are no ‘magic pills’ that will reverse the effects of poor movement habit and bodily neglect. The good news is that your body is already hardwired with everything it needs to learn, adapt, heal, and progress. I simply want to guide you in that process.
