Is this a good fit for you?…
More than another “treatment style” long-term change requires an intentional mindset shift. My approach is not best for individuals primarily looking for a “quick fix”, but is best suited to those looking for the “long road” to overall improved movement and performance.
1) willing to take responsibility for their health and well-being
2) willing to embrace movement as a learning process
3) willing to provide feedback and ask questions as they arise
4) willing to follow-through and be action-oriented with programming outside of personal appointment times
Intention is key…
You often will not fix the mechanical issues within your body until you fix the root-level issues related to how your body moves and organizes itself. This requires a high level of personal intention to learn your body and allow it to adapt.
Contrary to cultural belief, true physical “vitality” is not something that a “trainer”, a “therapist”, a “doctor”, etc., can “give” to you because it is developed on an internal level. This is a process someone can guide you through, but at the end of the day, there is no way around the fact that you must be the one to connect to your body on an internal level. Your nervous system - has to be re-calibrated to support efficient movement and posturing within the context of your daily life. This is a long-term process thatis rarely "fixed” in a matter of weeks.
If this is you, I want to be a part of your journey, helping your process at whatever level you see fit. If this sounds like a good fit to you, reach out through phone or email and we will schedule a call to get acquainted!
